Abstract
A laminate material element () for a hook and loop closure, particularly a diaper closure, has a carrier film () and a textile material () laminated onto the carrier film (), which has a surface structure that is suitable for forming a connection with the hooks of a hook and loop closure. The carrier film () and the textile material () are bonded together over their entire surface in an edge region that extends along the edges of the laminate material element and has the shape of a frame. A bond between the carrier film () and the textile material () that does not cover the entire surface is provided in the region within this frame.
