Abstract
There is provided an image forming apparatus which does not need height adjustment of the main body and the sheet post-processing device at the time of attaching the sheet post-processing device to the main body and which can prevent jam from occurring while securing the conveying force to convey paper sheets. In an image forming apparatusincluding a main bodyhaving a delivery sectionand a sheet post-processing devicehaving a reception sectionfor receiving paper sheets S, the delivery sectionhas a first paper conveying unitfor conveying paper sheets S toward the reception section, the reception sectionhas a pair of fixed guidesfor receiving the paper sheets S conveyed from the first paper conveying unit, a pair of movable guidesis provided between the first paper conveying unitof the delivery sectionand the pair of fixed guidesof the reception section, so that when the sheet post-processing deviceis brought close to the main body, the pair of movable guidescomes into sliding contact with the pair of fixed guidesand rotates around a shaft.
