Abstract
A block, particularly for filtering particulates present in the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, includes a plurality of flow channels for the gases (14,14), each of the channels (14,14) being bounded by a side wall (), a plug (15,15) and an opening (19,19) terminating outwardly.
