Abstract
There is provided an electrical connector in which the retaining force of retaining a front cover is improved. Electrical connectors, and' each have a housinghaving contact accommodating cavities; a front coverthat is attached to the front side of the housingand that has mating connector inserting openingsat positions that correspond to the contact accommodating cavities; and a retainerthat is attached form the lower side of the housingand that locks contacts accommodated in the contact accommodating cavities.
