Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a contact lens for vitreous surgery that is highly durable to washing, disinfectants, sterilizing high-pressure steam, and the like, and that has good antireflection effect in the visible light range. In the contact lensfor vitreous surgery used to observe the ocular fundusduring vitreous surgery, an antireflection filmproduced by ion beam sputtering is coated onto the upper surfaceof a lens main body, and the antireflection film is a multilayered film in which a high refractive index layerthat contains tantalum pentoxide (TaO) and a low refractive index layerthat contains silicon dioxide (SiO) are alternatingly layered.
