Abstract
A tirehas an endless decorative bandon a surface of a sidewall. The decorative bandhas one or more first indicative sectorand one or more second indicative sectorwhich are arranged alternately and consecutively in the circumferential direction. The first indicative sectorconsists of a background portionwhich continuously leads to the sidewall portionadjacent to the first indicative sector with a uniform surface roughness value, and a foreground portionwhich is arranged in the background portionand forms marks by having a surface roughness value larger than that of the background portion. A background portionconstituting a part or whole of the second indicative sectorhas a surface rougher than any of the sidewall portionand the background portionof the first indicative sector
