Abstract
An anastomotic device, particularly a circular stapler (), comprises a handle () and a stem (). A channel suitable to receive a guide wire at least partially develops along the length of the stapler. The stem () is made of a flexible material, such as to facilitate reaching the site requiring anastomosis. The circular stapler () comprises an anvil () suitable to be introduced on the free end of the stem (). The anvil () comprises a channel () suitable to receive a guide wire () and extending along the anvil, and a portion () suitable to act as a striker against the wall of one of the portions (A; B) of the tissues to be joined.
