Abstract
A wheel hub/universal joint assembly having an axis of rotation A constant velocity universal joint with an outer joint part, an inner joint part, and torque transmitting balls The outer joint part has a first face toothing which engages a second face toothing provided at a collar on a sleeve portion of the wheel. Clamping means axially clamps the wheel hub to the outer joint part. The clamping means is axially supported on the wheel hub and the outer joint part The ratio of the axial length Bof the wheel bearingand the mean diameter Dof the face toothing is smaller than 0.63, i.e. B/D<0.63.
