Abstract

A communication game system includes a parent device and at least one child device. When a predetermined operational designation has been carried out with respect to an object at the child device, for example, the child device transmits to the parent device a request for permission to perform an action corresponding to the operation. Until a conclusion as to the request is received, the child device reproduces an image in which a player character is performing a first act of the action. The parent device determines whether the action can be permitted or not in response to the request from the child device, and transmits a conclusion of determination to the child device. When receiving the conclusion by the time of end of the first act, the child device reproduces an image in which the player character is performing a second act according to the conclusion after end of the first act. On the other hand, when not receiving the conclusion by the time of end of the first act, the child device reproduces an image in which the player character is performing a third act in conformity to the first act and the second act until the reception of the conclusion.
