Abstract
The invention comprises a polymeric microarray support () for an optical assay arrangement () comprising optical means () for detection of light emitted from the support. The microarray support is provided with microfeatures comprising a surface enlarging pattern (), i.e. grooves having a selected depth (). The depth is selected such that the sum of the depth and of the variations in the thickness () of the support substantially corresponds to the depth of focus of the optical means.
