Abstract
An axial piston machine of swash-plate construction includes a cylinder block () rotatable in a housing () and supported in the axial direction against a valve plate () arranged on a housing component (), a driving shaft () coupled in a rotationally synchronous manner to the cylinder block (), and a cylinder block bearing () absorbing transverse forces. In order to achieve a simple construction which is axially and radially compact, the cylinder block bearing () is arranged between a central recess () of the cylinder block () and a supporting journal () fastened to the housing component () and extending into the recess ().
