Abstract
Many methods are presented herein including a method comprising: providing a metal surface; and contacting the metal surface with a treatment fluid comprising an aqueous base fluid, an acid, a corrosion inhibitor, and a corrosion inhibitor intensifier composition comprising a corrosion inhibitor compound that corresponds to a formula: PR1R2R3, wherein R1, R2, and R3 are chosen from the group consisting of C-Calkyl, cycloalkyl, oxyalkyl, and aryl groups, and R1, R2, and R3 may or may not be equal. Corrosion inhibitor intensifier compositions also are provided.
