Abstract

The invention relates to holographic storage material () comprising at least one polymer film () and one metallic first layer () which is applied to the polymer film (). In order to provide a storage material () having improved optical properties, a non-metallic second layer () and a metallic third layer () are provided. The second layer () is arranged between the first () and the third () layers. The total thickness of the first, second and third layers () is less than the wavelength of the radiation used for reading out.
