Abstract

Various embodiments of the invention relate to a vehicle, especially a commercial vehicle, with a braking system for a wheel of the vehicle having an axle arrangement and a brake, especially a disc brake, whereby the cross-section of the axle arrangement has an outer contour differing from a circle, and the brake has a brake carrier. According to one embodiment of the invention, the brake carrier has an opening whose inner contour differs from a circle and the outer contour lies on the axle arrangement such that the brake carrier surrounds the axle of the brake to form a keyed fit with the axle arrangement.
