Abstract

A computer array () has a plurality of computers () for accomplishing a larger task that is divided into smaller tasks, each of the smaller tasks being assigned to one or more of the computers (). Each of the computers () may be configured for specific functions and individual input/output circuits () associated with exterior computers () are specifically adapted for particular input/output functions. An example of 25 computers () arranged in the computer array () has a centralized computational core () with the computers () nearer the edge of the die () being configured for input and/or output.
