Abstract
A plant for treating pollutants contained in the exhaust gases of an internal-combustion engine includes an exhaust line () with an oxidation catalyst (), a selective catalytic reduction catalyst () including a chemically active porous body and an injector () for injecting a reducing agent into the exhaust line. The selective catalytic reduction catalyst () includes at least one chemically inert passage () for the exhaust gases flowing therethrough and a shut-off () controlling access of the gases to the passage.
