Abstract
A cleaning tablet comprising a hydrogen-bonded complex of poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) containing, by weight, about 15-20 wt. % HO, and ingredients capable of producing an effervescent effect in aqueous solution by release of carbon dioxide therefrom which comprises an alkali carbonate and/or bicarbonate base and an organic acid.
