Abstract
A power tool comprises a housing () with an output shaft () driven by a rotation motor and an angle drive () connecting the output shaft () to the motor, wherein the angle drive () comprises a drive spindle () connected to the motor and carrying a pinion (), and a bevel gear () secured to the output shaft (). The drive spindle () and the pinion () are supported in the housing () via a ball type thrust bearing () having in one of its embodiments an inner ring () with a thread for cooperation with a threaded portion () on the drive spindle (), and an outer ring () which is rigidly secured in the housing (). The inner ring () is adjustable and lockable relative to the drive spindle, () by an annular lock element (). In an alternative embodiment the inner ring () is secured to the drive spindle (), whereas the outer ring () is threaded into a threaded portion of housing () such that the outer ring (), the drive spindle () and the pinion () are adjustable relative to the housing () and the bevel gear (). A deformable lock element () the outer ring () in set position.
