Abstract
In order to provide a bone substitution material which enables mechanical stability and long-term in-vivo biocompatibility which can also be used for guided bone healing, the invention provides a method comprising the steps of providing a starting material comprising a mixture of at least a skeleton substance () and at least one functional substance, and building up a skeleton from the skeleton substance, thereby producing a profiled body (), as well as a profiled body () containing a skeleton substance () and comprising a porous structure () with pores () being interconnected with each other.
