Novel 1,3-dihydro-benzimidazol-2-ylidene amine derivatives of formula the addition salts and stereochemically isomeric forms wherein each Alk is Calkanediyl; Q is hydrogen; Calkyl substituted with one or two Arradicals; Calkyl substituted with quinolinyl, oxazolidinyl, thiazolidinyl, morpholinyl, thiomorpholinyl, or with pyrrolidinonyl; —CO—Ar; or Q is a radical of formula wherein t is 1, 2 or 3; Ris amino, mono-or di(Calkyl)amino; wherein Ris hydrogen, Calkyl, substituted Calkyl; R, R, Rare halo, cyano, Calkyl, substituted Calkyl, Calkenyl, cyanoCalkenyl, Calkynyl, cyanoCalkynyl, Ar, R—0—, R—S—, —N(RR), R—O—C(═O)—, N(RR)—C(═O)—, R—C(═O)—NR—, R—C(═O)—O—; and Rand/or Rmay also be hydrogen; which are RSV inhibitors.
