Abstract

A novel pressure control device is provided comprising a first cylinder () at a predetermined excess pressure, a piston () with a sealing ring () being movable within said first cylinder, and a second cylinder (). The first cylinder () is encompassed by the second cylinder () as to form a ring-shaped passage which is leading to the outside. A valve in said passageway is released and closed by a stem () of the piston (). The open end of the first cylinder () is provided with at least one axially directed incision (), such that the piston () with the sealing ring () introduced in the first cylinder () and covering the end of the incision () is in a non-pressurized position. The stem () has a stop element () which closes the valve in the upper position of the piston, wherein the piston stroke essentially defines the excess pressure.
