Abstract

When a mobile terminal () moves from an access network () to another access network (), the unique information on destination of the mobile terminal () in an access router () is transferred as alternate information from an access router () to a home agent (). The access router () transfers the unique information on destination of the mobile terminal () in the access router () as original information to the home agent () and at the same time transfers the unique information on destination of the mobile terminal () in the access router () as alternate information to the home agent (). Using these data, the home agent () builds security association for the mobile terminal () between the access router () and the home agent ().
