Abstract
The resonator () for a timepiece results from coupling a first, low frequency resonator () with a second, higher frequency resonator (). The first resonator () has a first balance () associated with a first balance spring (). The second resonator () has a second balance () associated with a second balance spring (). A third balance spring is arranged between the first () and second () balances to couple said first () and second () resonators.
