Abstract
A guide is proposed for devices for processing sheet material, particularly bank notes and checks, that is equipped with a guide body (), with several guide wings () on the guide body (), with at least three edges () on the guide wings () running parallel to each another and tapering to a point and with a guide drive () connected to the guide body () that sets the guide body () in motion in at least two different directions, wherein at least one of the two motions is a translational motion.
