Abstract
A photoelectric conversion element is disclosed, comprising a compound represented by the following formula between a pair of opposed electrodes: wherein Ar, ARand Arare each a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, x is an organic residue having an acidic group and n is an integer of 2 to 8. A solar cell comprising the photoelectric conversion element is also disclosed.
