Abstract
Disclosed herein are cyanide-tolerant nitrile hydratases especially fromorstrains which exhibit increased cyanide tolerance. Also disclosed are methods of preparing amides from nitriles in the presence of cyanides and polynucleotide sequences coding for cyanide-tolerant nitrile hydratases.
