Abstract
A wheeled chassis assembly for a sorption column in the form of a vat () for cleaning waste gases has at the bottom end thereof a depending foot rim () and an outwardly projecting corrugation (). Wheel mounts () with wheels () thereon are pivotally secured to wheel brackets (). Each wheel bracket () has an engagement surface () pressed onto the outside surface of vat () between foot rim () and corrugation () by a counter-piece () engaging the inside surface of foot rim () and threadingly coupled to wheel bracket (). Engagement surfaces (and) are curved to conform with the outside surface of vat () and the inside surface of foot rim (), respectively. Below an engagement surface (), a wheel bracket () has an annular groove () for receiving a foot rim (), its upper area having an inclined curved portion () for engaging the corrugation () and shaped to conform with the configuration thereof.
