Abstract

According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a portable terminal which non-contact communicates with an external reader/writer at a specified relative position to the reader/writer, including: a second antenna configured to carry out non-contact communication with a loop shaped first antenna whose arrangement position and size are defined in the external reader/writer; and a magnetic sheet having no magnetic body in a part of a region where the magnetic sheet at least partly overlaps with the first antenna when the portable terminal is at the specified relative position to the external reader/writer.
