Abstract
An information recording apparatus () is provided with: a first recording device () for recording user data into a user data area () provided for an information recording medium (), with a data area attribute added; and a second recording device () for recording a marker () following an end edge portion of the recorded user data, with a predetermined flag bit set to a first value and with the data area attribute added, the flag bit indicating at least whether or not the marker is recorded.
