Abstract
The invention relates to an electrical motor (), comprising a shaft (), a housing () with a housing flange () and a bearing plate () with a bearing plate flange (), whereby one end of the shaft () projects out of the bearing plate (). The housing flange () and the bearing plate flange () are connected by means of at least one hollow rivet () such that the electrical motor () may be mounted by means of a fixing element, in particular, a screw, through the hollow rivet () on a connector flange of a gear stage in a working connection with the projecting end of the shaft (). In one method for connection or said electrical motor () to a connector flange, the electrical motor () may be mounted by means of a fixing element, through the hollow rivet () on a connector flange of a gear stage in a working connection with the projecting end of the shaft ().
