Abstract
To improve game performance, in a three-dimensional video game in which a viewpoint position changes in accordance with a movement of a player character, considering an aspect of how to show a player an activation of a prescribed effect at a second object, forming a pair with a first object, for which the effect is set. In a case in which an action source objectand an action target objectare displayed, within a display range which changes in accordance with a movement of a player character, on a second LCD, on a front surface of which a touch panel is disposed, when a line drawing operation is carried out on the touch panel from a display position of the action source objectto a display position of the action target object, a speed at which the line drawing operation is being carried out is calculated. In the event that the calculated speed is equal to or faster than a prescribed speed, as well as an effect display being done on a locus of the line drawing operation, an effect set for the action target objectis activated.
