Abstract

The present invention includes: a pair of columnar membersanddisposed on both sides of a specimen SP; a crosshead, constructed so as to bridge the pair of columnar membersand, that applies a load to the specimen SP by moving in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the columnar membersand; and a support poleat which a mounting fixture is to be attached, that extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis circumjacent the pair of columnar membersand. The support poleis provided with a sliding attachment unittothat extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis and slides a mounting fixture for use in material testing to change a position at which the mounting fixture is attached.
