Abstract
The present invention relates to an electric motor and to a method for manufacturing an electric motor. The electric motor comprises at least a stator (), a rotor () and an air gap () between these, in which motor the stator and/or rotor comprises slots () and teeth () between slots, and in which the stator and/or rotor has a concentrated winding fitted in the slots. In the method of the invention, the phase windings are fitted as a concentrated fractional-slot winding.
