Abstract
The present invention relates to a pyrimidine compound of the formula (I): wherein Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, halogen atom or C1-C4 alkyl; Rrepresents C3-C7 alkynyloxy; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, halogen atom or C1-C3 alkyl; X represents C4 polymethylene, in which a CH—CHmay be replaced with a CH═CH, optionally substituted with at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen atoms, trifluoromethyl and C1-C4 alkyls. This pyrimidine compound has an excellent activity of controlling pests.
