A staple leg cutting mechanismis composed of a fixed cutterinterposed between staple legs Spenetrated through binding sheets and a pair of movable cuttersdisposed movable from the outside of the staple legs Sto the inside thereof, and a clincher mechanismis composed of a pair of movable clinchersrespectively disposed on the lower surface side of their associated movable cutters, whereby the staple legs Spenetrated through the binding sheets are formed in an inwardly curved manner by the movable clinchersand are then guided into and between the movable cuttersand fixed cutter, the movable cuttersare moved from the outside of the staple legs Sto the inside thereof to thereby cut the leading end portions of the staple legs S, and the staple legs Sare bent along the binding sheets by the movable clinchers
