Abstract
Method for preparing (S)(+)phenyl acetic acid derivatives having the general formula (I): wherein Ris a linear or branched alkyl group with 1-6 carbon atoms or substituted benzyl group, and Ris methyl, ethyl or propyl group said method, characterised in that a compound of the general formula (II): wherein Ris as given above, and Ris a nucleofuge, or a suitable salt of a compound of the general formula (II) is reacted with a compound having the general formula (III): wherein Ris as given above, and Ris hydrogen or a nucleofuge that can be removed hydrolytically, and the protective group Rthat may be present, may be subsequently removed hydrolytically.
