Abstract

An apparatus including a device such as a catheter or guidewire having dimensions suitable for percutaneous delivery to a patient; and a magnetic resonance (MR) compatible antenna associated with the device in a manner that provides a prescribed radial and/or longitudinal orientation of the antenna at a point of interest within a blood vessel of a patient. An antenna suitable for radial and/or longitudinal orientation.
