Abstract

A magnetic pole for magnetic levitation vehicles is described which pole comprises a core () and a winding () applied on it in form of a disc which is formed by a conductor strip () wound in several layers () . . .) around said core (). According to the present invention, the conductor strip () is properly tailor-cut at its longitudinal rims () so that its width increases from said core () towards the outside until it reaches a maximum value (b).
