Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement for inductively heating an electrical conductor after the extrusion head in a process of manufacturing electrical cables () having insulation layer on the electrical conductor. The arrangement comprises a first distinctive part having induction means (), and a second distinctive part having guide means () and provided in a splice box () for directing the magnetic field created with the induction means () to protect external parts from heating.
