Abstract
A lightweight valve (), in particular for internal combustion engines, and a method for manufacturing the lightweight valve () are provided. The valve comprises a valve stem (), a hollow valve cone () and a valve disk (), the valve cone () and the valve disk () together forming a hollow space. The valve disk () is provided with a gripping receiver () for the valve stem ().
