Abstract
A fluid handling unithas an outside large-diameter cylindrical portion, an outside small-diameter cylindrical portionand an inside cylindrical portionwhich are integral-molded so as to be integrated with each other. The inside cylindrical portionhas a plurality of slits, which are extend from the lower end of the inside cylindrical portionto the upper end thereof, for establishing a communication between an inside fluid housing chamber, which is formed in the inside cylindrical portion, and an outside fluid housing chamberwhich is formed between the inside cylindrical portionand the outside small-diameter cylindrical portion. The plurality of slitsare designed to cause the most part of a liquid in the inside fluid housing chamberto enter the outside fluid housing chamberdue to capillarity when the quantity of the liquid fed into the fluid handling unitis not larger than a predetermined quantity, and to allow the liquid in the outside fluid housing chamberto enter the inside fluid housing chamber when the quantity of the liquid fed into the fluid handling unitexceeds the predetermined quantity.
