Abstract

A CPU () acquires objective information indicating the objective of X-ray photography before X-ray photography is performed, and sets an X-ray photography mode corresponding to the acquired objective information. After the start of X-ray photography, the CPU then determines whether information communication from an operation unit () is normal. Upon determining that information communication is not normal, the CPU performs operation control on X-ray photography in accordance with the set X-ray photography mode.
