Abstract
A leveris supported by a lever supporting portion. The leveris urged by a spring. A friction producing memberis in contact with a pivot restricting memberwhich is interlocked with the leverto produce a frictional force in a direction opposite to the direction in which the leverpivots. Such a configuration allows a pedal apparatus to exhibit hysteresis in characteristics of the amount of depression of the leverand reaction force.
