Abstract

This invention relates to novel corosolic acid analogs of the formula I, wherein R, R, R, Rand Rare described herein. These compounds exhibit good hypoglycemic and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitory activities. They also inhibit tumour growth. Pharmaceutical compositions containing known adjutants and the title compounds are also within the scope of this invention.
