Abstract

The invention relates to a cosmetic method, whereby skin is treated with various sun products, and to a sun product combination. The inventive method is characterized by applying, prior to intensive exposure of the skin to UV radiation, a pre-sun product, then a sun product and finally repeatedly applying an after-sun product. The pre-sun product comprises a radical interceptor, the combination caffeine/complex amino acid salt, the combination photolyase/UV endonuclease and an algae extract of. The sun product comprises a UV filter combination of UVA and UVB filters having at least 3% by weight of UVA filter. The after-sun product comprises components similar to those used for the pre-sun product, the content of the radical interceptor and the enzyme photolyase being by 50 to 90% by weight lower, the content of the enzyme UV endonuclease being by 50 to 90% by weight higher, and the algae extract being replaced by a cooling plant extract.
