Abstract
The invention relates to an electrical plug-type connector () having a socket-like contact element (), which is arranged in a contact chamber (), which comprises at least two chamber parts (), which bear against one another with in each case at least one abutting face (), is made from plastic and has a plug-in opening (). The invention provides for the outer face () of the contact chamber () to be completely coated with a conductive layer and for the abutting faces () to be overlapped laterally by an overlapping wall section () on the outside of the contact chambers (), and for that side of the overlapping wall section () which faces the abutting faces () to likewise be coated with a conductive layer.
