Abstract
Disclosed is a robot which is compact in structure and may be movable in a large working range, wherein move membersmay be moved by drive devicesrespectively along a straight line and in parallel with each other, the drive devicesincluding motorsrespectively which are individually controlled by a control device, so that the move membersmay be moved at a different speed and may be stopped at different relative positions. The move membersare connected to a work holderby means of arms, the arms having one end pivotally connected to the move membersat the pivotsthereof respectively, the armshaving the opposite end pivotally connected to the work holderat the pivotsthereof respectively. The work holdermay hold an optional jig and may be moved in a horizontal plane and in a vertical plane enabling the jig to work in the working plane.
