Abstract
A cleaning pad () is disclosed. The cleaning pad () includes a base sheet () bonded to a fiber mat () and exhibits improved debris retention when a liquid is applied to the pad () or the surface to be cleaned. The pad () is preferably used with a cleaning system that includes a fluid source () in communication with a cleaning tool () such that fluid may be selectively applied to a surface to be cleaned or directly to the fiber mat () of the cleaning pad ().
