Abstract
Described herein is a functional unit () for a door () of a motor vehicle, provided with a lock () and a window-regulator device (); the lock () comprises a closing mechanism (), designed to couple in a releasable way with a lock striker () for bringing about closing of the door (), and an actuating mechanism (), for controlling release of the closing mechanism () by the lock striker () and bringing about opening of the door (); the window-regulator device () comprises an electrically operated actuator () for raising or lowering a window () of the door (). The unit () is further provided with coupling means (), which can be selectively activated for coupling together the actuator () and the actuating mechanism () so as to enable opening of the door () via the actuator () itself.
