Abstract
Leakage of information from a high-quality copy created by reading out data from a storage device is inhibited. A printing apparatus () and a multi-function peripheral () which is connected to a network () store images each corresponding to an identification information. These apparatuses extract an identification information from a document for which a unique identification information is formed, and search a storage device for an image containing an identification information which coincides with the unique identification information. The apparatuses acquire the found image, form copy-forgery-inhibited-pattern image information on the image, and print.
